Welcome! I am a yoga instructor based in Santa Barbara, I offer personalized yoga sessions designed to help you connect deeper with your physical body. The core of my teachings and practice is based on what my teacher Stephanie Snyder says: we are different, but not separate. My goal is to offer more than just physical exercise, to create a safe space for connecting with the sacred within.
My approach is grounded in the belief that nurturing a healthy body can have enormous benefits for the mind and spirit as well. By incorporating a holistic well-being my knowledge of various disciplines like yoga, strength training and eccentric, engaged stretching (aka fascia stretch techniques). I strive to create customized sessions that are tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals.

``I've been taking Sepideh's early-evening yoga classes twice a week at Goleta Valley Athletic Club for a few months now, and I look forward to them hugely. I've practised various styles of yoga via a mixture of in-person classes and an at-home app for nearly 15 years, and I appreciate Sepideh's approach more than most others I've encountered. She has a brilliant knack for combining precise attention to detail with a free-flowing feel—for example, each class includes adaptations of poses and sequences to enhance benefits to the fascia as well as the muscles, and these are mixed in with fun free movement interludes (with excellent dance music!) to help get a nice trancey feeling going. There's something about how she leads a class that makes me feel warm and relaxed however stressful my day has been—something that clearly derives from her rich technical knowledge but also from the presence and openness she brings to the group setting. I feel very lucky to have joined a gym that gives me twice-weekly classes with Sepideh, and I recommend working with her on any priorities you may have that involve building an appreciative, trusting relationship with your body—and simply helping your body feel and function reliably better by the end of the hour."

I'm passionate about sharing the tools that have brought me joy, vitality, and a profound connection with my body. I'm originally Persian, and my mission is to guide you on a path to experiencing the sheer bliss of being fully embodied.
My exploration into yoga led me to complete my 200hr Teacher Training at Love Story Yoga in San Francisco, where I delved into Bhakti Yoga—a fusion of philosophy, modern asana, anatomy, chanting, and injury management with Stephanie Snyder. To deepen my understanding, I pursued further studies, including:
These experiences have profoundly influenced and refined my teaching style. In my classes, I focus on helping you release tension, ease pain, and connect with the spark within.
